Deja Vu has arrived for the UConn Huskies, they find themselves yet again in the National Championship as they look to go back to back. This team has ascended into solidified blue-blood status over the past couple of years, and now they have a chance to tie North Carolina for third all-time in National Championships with six.

It has been stated over and over again how dominant this Huskies team is, and how no opponent has given them much of a fight. However, the Alabama Crimson Tide kept this a close game right up until the final few minutes when the Big East team pulled away. Purdue will be the best team this squad has faced by far, but the same goes for the Boilermakers.

UConn is 1-2 all-time against Purdue, with their last matchup being a win in the 2009 Sweet Sixteen in Glendale, Arizona, which is where the 2024 version of this matchup will take place. Now, the stakes are a bit higher, and this will be an intense game of basketball. Big Ten vs Big East showdowns are always a great display of hard-nosed and physical basketball, and this will be just the same.

There are great matchups all over the place to look at, and the consensus seems to be that we really did get the best two teams in the nation to play for it all. But for UConn, how do they get the job done, and what about Purdue is there to look out for?
