The former UMass forward, Josh Cohen, has changed his mind and will follow the leader he committed to when he originally chose ArkansasEric Musselman. The two have chosen the West Coast lifestyle and plan to make their presence felt in the Pac-12, which includes top programs in UCLA and Arizona.

Josh Cohen is a 6-foot-10, 220-pound big man who racked up 16 points, seven rebounds, and two assists this previous year. The leading scorer for the UMass roster eventually ended the 2023-2024 journey with a 20-11 record on top of going 11-7 in the A-10 conference, finishing third in the standings.

Cohen also accumulated 34 percent from behind the three-point line and made over half of his shot attempts over the entire season. Completing with a 54 percent tally from the field.

The ability to convert around the rim and back his defender down is the ultimate bully-ball playstyle. Cohen's season was dominated by two 28-point performances against the Old Dominion Monarchs (12/24) and Loyola Chicago (1/17). Back on December 9th, Cohen grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds.

The Trojans finished the season with a 15-18 record, placing 9th in the Pac-12 standings. Despite having top players like Isaiah Collier and the son of NBA great LeBron James, Bronny James, USC was never able to find its footing in terms of wins.

A new era is approaching, and Coach Musselman is in town to completely revamp the basketball world in California. He was able to do it with the Razorbacks, leading Arkansas to two Elite 8 appearances and one Sweet 16 during his time as the head coach.
