Another team with three wins in row, the Akron Zips brought home the Mid-American Conference Tournament title after taking down Miami (OH), Ohio, and Kent State.
The Zips are currently averaging 74 points per game while only allowing their opponents to score an average of 65.9 against them.
While not as many fans were surprised by Akron’s win in the championship game, the Zips are undeniably playing very well at just the right time.
