Texas has struggled to maintain a level head this year. Earlier in the season, the Horns were ranked as highly as No. 12 in the country but have since dropped out of the AP Poll Top 25.

In the Big 12 Tournament, the Longhorns were eliminated in the first round by the Kansas State Wildcats which Texas had demolished earlier this year.

The Horns have won 50 percent of their last six games including losses to then-No. 11 Baylor and then-No. 9 Kansas.

While star player Dylan Disu plays through a lingering injury, head coach Rodney Terry will have to rally the troops in order to make it past the opening round in the NCAA Tournament.
