For the second postseason in a row, head coach Matt Painter and the Purdue basketball program made it to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament for March Madness. Purdue's postseason ended this past spring in the Big Dance in the Sweet 16 after a close 62-60 loss to the eventual National Champion runner-up, the Houston Cougars.

Painter and the Boilermakers have made good use of the spring transfer portal window in the past few offseasons to bolster the roster in the Big Ten.

Camden Heide, F

The fourth and most recent transfer portal entrant from the Purdue program is sophomore wing/forward Camden Heide. The former three-star recruit from Minneapolis (MN) Wayzata High School put up career-best numbers this past season at Purdue. Heide averaged a career-high nearly five points per game, 3.6 rebounds, and 0.4 assists over 36 appearances and eight starts for the Boilermakers.

Heide has two years of eligibility remaining and committed to play for new head coach Sean Miller and the Texas Longhorns in the SEC for this upcoming season in the 2025-26 campaign.

After signing with Purdue in the 2022 recruiting class a few cycles ago, Berg has two years of eligibility remaining.

Waddell averaged a career-high 2.0 points per game, 0.8 rebounds, and 0.4 assists over nine games played coming off the bench for Painter and the Boilermakers this past season in the Big Ten.
