Since recruiting services have been active, a strong case can be made that Duke Basketball has been the most prolific college basketball program in high school recruiting. They have dozens of five-star commits to the program, and even after Hall of Fame head coach Mike Krzyzewski retired a few years ago, Jon Scheyer still has the program landing the top prospects.

Just in the upcoming 2026 class alone, the Blue Devils have a trio of five-star commits, including Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje, Deron Rippey Jr. and Cameron Williams. But who have been the biggest impact prospects coming out of high school since 2010 (per 247sportsComposite)? Here’s a ranking of all 47 players who qualify.

47. Jalen Johnson (2020-21)

Stats: 11.2 ppg and 6.1 rpg

Johnson played just 13 games in his only season at Duke, leaving them midway through before going pro. His top outing was easily the 24-point and 16-rebound performance on the road at Pittsburgh. Ultimately, Blue Devil fans won’t think fondly of the current Atlanta Hawk star.

46. TJ Power (2023-24)

Stats: 2.1 ppg and 0.7 rpg

Power struggled to find a role in his lone year with Duke, averaging just 7.0 mpg off the bench. His season-high was just nine points in six minutes against La Salle in the non-conference. Power struggled at Virginia the following year but thrived this past season at Penn in the Ivy League.

45. Semi Ojeleye (2013-15)

Stats: 2.0 ppg and 1.3 rpg

The former five-star prospect played just 23 games in two years at Duke due to injuries, including just six games in the national title run in 2015. But Ojeleye’s college career did end on a nice note, averaging 19 ppg in his final year at SMU, earning AAC Player of the Year honors.
