32. DJ Steward (2020-21)
Stats: 13 ppg and 3.9 rpg
Steward was limited to just 24 games in his lone year with the program, shooting 43% from the field. The All-ACC freshman guard had multiple 20+ point games, including 21 points and seven rebounds in a win over Syracuse. He was one of the team members who didn’t make the NCAA Tournament in 2021.
31. Cam Reddish (2018-19)
Stats: 13.5 ppg and 3.7 rpg
Part of the top trio in the 2018 class, Reddish wasn’t as efficient as the others, shooting just 36% from the field and 33% from deep. He still had some big moments, including 22 against Kentucky and a season-high 27 in the win over rival North Carolina.
30. Mark Mitchell (2022-24)
Stats: 10.3 ppg and 5.2 rpg
This piece focuses on players’ careers at Duke, so Mitchell's rise to stardom at Missouri in his final two years has to be forgotten. He still started 67 games in his two years with the team and was a double-digit contributor, including five games with at least 20 points. In the end, he still was a good starter for Duke; he just had to leave to be the focal point somewhere else.
29. AJ Griffin (2021-22)
Stats: 10.4 ppg and 3.9 rpg
Griffin started on the bench but became a full-time starter and key player in the second half of the year. He shot 49% from the field and 45% from deep, including a 27-point outing on the road at North Carolina. In his last win in a Duke uniform, Griffin had 18 points in the Elite 8 win over Arkansas.
