24. Tyrese Proctor (2022-25)
Stats: 10.8 ppg and 3.0 apg
Proctor started 97 games in three years at Duke, with his junior campaign (12.4 ppg) being his most effective on offense. He also shot a career-high 45% from the field and 41% from deep and had four games of at least 20 points. His top game came in the Big Dance, when he scored 25 points in the Round of 32 win over Baylor.
23. Jeremy Roach (2020-24)
Stats: 11.3 ppg and 3.1 apg
Roach started 108 games in four years at Duke, shooting 44% from the field and averaging 14 ppg in his final year. He had back-to-back 15-point games as a sophomore during Duke’s run to the title game in 2022, along with a 22-point outing against Arkansas in 2023 as a senior. He ultimately transferred to Baylor in his final year of eligibility but remains one of the longest-tenured former five-star players in the modern era.
22. Mark Williams (2020-22)
Stats: 9.7 ppg and 6.3 rpg
Williams spent two years at Duke, averaging 11.2 ppg, 7.4 rpg, and 2.8 blocks per game as a full-time sophomore starter. He was the ACC Defensive Player of the Year, while leading the conference with 72% FG shooting from inside the arc. Among his notable outings were 12 points and 12 rebounds to beat Arkansas in the Elite 8, along with 28 points and 12 rebounds in a road win over Syracuse.
21. Jared McCain (2023-24)
Stats: 14.3 ppg and 5.0 rpg
The 6’3 guard was one of the top shooters in 2024, shooting 41% from three-point range on nearly six attempts a game. McCain had nine games of at least 20 points, including two games of at least 30 points in the NCAA Tournament. One of them was a 32-point outing against NC State in the Elite 8 loss, along with 35 on the road at Florida State.
