It’s Monday, meaning the College Basketball transfer portal is officially open. Of course, dozens of players have already announced themselves or reportedly told others their intentions of entering the portal.

Here’s a look at the 50 best free agents that are “reportedly” in the transfer portal.

50. Zachary Davis - South Carolina Gamecocks

2024-25 season stats: 8.2 ppg and 4.6 rpg

The 6’8 guard started 38 games in three years for South Carolina, producing career-high scoring numbers but on 38% FG shooting. Davis did have a pair of 22-point outings, including against the Florida Gators. His size and athleticism make him and appealing target for teams at the high major ranks.

49. Alex Chaikin - Lafayette Leopards

2024-25 season stats: 13.9 ppg and 2.6 rpg

The 6’4 guard may just be a freshman, but Chaikin was one of the best shooters in the country, making 48% of his three-point shots on over five attempts. Chaikin finished with five 20+ point outings in the final month, including 29 in the Patriot League Tournament loss to American.

48. Kam Craft - Miami (OH)

2024-25 season stats: 13.6 ppg and 3.0 rpg

The former top-50 prospect played limited minutes at Xavier but excelled in the MAC this season, ranking second in scoring for a good Redhawks team. Kraft shot 43% from three-point range and averaged 17.3 ppg in the MAC Tournament. He’ll be a candidate to move up.

47. Chance Moore - St. Bonaventure Bonnies

2024-25 season stats: 13 ppg and 6.5 rpg

The former top-100 prospect produced career-high numbers with the Bonnies, shooting 46% from the field in 34 mpg. The senior had a pair of 23-point and 10-rebound games, along with a career-high 27 points against Canisius. The 6'5 wing is from Georgia, so there's a chance he could go down south.

46. Ryan Forrest - North Carolina A&T Aggies

2024-25 season stats: 19.1 ppg and 3.7 rpg

Coming over from Northwestern State, Forrest had a big solo year in the CAA, shooting 40% from the field. The sophomore had seven games with at least 25 points, including 33 points against Morgan State. He's also prone to get to the FT line a lot, with six games of double-digit attempts.
