Gonzaga and Saint Mary’s have been one of the best rivalries in all of College Basketball. And in recent years, it’s been one of the most even. Earlier in WCC play, the Gaels got the 62-58 win to be in first place in the conference, currently up two games on everyone else at 14-1 and on a four-game win streak.
The Bulldogs have bounced back from the loss to Saint Mary’s, winning five straight themselves and coming off an 84-63 road win over Washington State. They’re 12-3 in WCC play and seem to be in a good spot for the NCAA Tournament but a Quad 1 win over their rivals wouldn’t hurt.

H2: Gonzaga vs Saint Mary’s prediction
In the first matchup, Graham Ike (24 points) had his way over Mitchell Saxen of the Gaels inside. There were two reasons why Gonzaga lost that road game. One, there weren’t others who helped Ike offensively, with Nolan Hickman and Khalif Battle combining for just six points.
The other was allowing freshman Mikey Lewis to score 16 points off the bench for Saint Mary’s. If they clean those parts up, they should have a great shot at getting the home win. And if they do, the Bulldogs will be just one game back of the Gaels in the standings.
