12. Oklahoma Sooners (15-4, 2-4)

Oklahoma righted the ship a little this week, picking up two wins after an 0-4 start to SEC play. The Sooners easily beat South Carolina but needed a late second-half comeback to take down a shorthanded Arkansas team. The Sooners have struggled on defense in SEC play, giving up more than 70 points four times in six games (they did this four times in 13 non-con games). It's still hard to believe that this is the same team that was undefeated when conference play started.

11. Vanderbilt Commodores (16-4, 4-3)

What a past week for Vanderbilt. Last Saturday, the Commodores upset No. 6 Tennessee and then this Saturday upset No. 9 Kentucky. The only loss between those two games was to Alabama. Vanderbilt is arguably one of the most improved teams in all of college basketball this season, and Mark Byington is in contention for SEC Coach of the Year. The Commodores have been a tough team to beat. Watch out for Vanderbilt moving forward, especially when playing in Nashville.

10. Texas Longhorns (14-6, 3-4)

Texas is finally starting to look like a good team in SEC play. The Longhorns picked up their two best wins of the season this week, beating Missouri and then completing a 22-point comeback to take down in-state rival Texas A&M. Texas is now 2-5 against ranked teams, but the Longhorns will most likely need a couple more upsets to be considered a lock for the NCAA Tournament. Tre Johnson all but locked up the conference player of the year race with his 30 points against A&M.
