09. Ole Miss Rebels (15-5, 4-3)

After starting SEC play 4-0 the Rebels have dropped their last three games. Including losses to Texas A&M at home and Missouri on the road. Ole Miss has struggled to get stops in two of its three SEC losses, allowing 84 points to Mississippi State and 83 points to Missouri. The Rebels are still a really good defensive team and will be a hard team to beat, but Ole Miss will need to find a way to not let this three-game losing streak spiral into something more.

08. Texas A&M Aggies (15-5, 4-3)

Texas A&M split their two road games this week, beating Ole Miss and then relinquishing a 22-point lead to Texas. Whatever magic A&M had earlier this season to be able to eke out wins regardless of how well they shot on offense might have run out. The Aggies are still a good, not great basketball team, but Buzz Williams has some work to do to fix his offense after not breaking 70 points over the last four games.

07. Missouri Tigers (16-4, 5-2)

The offensive performance at Texas was mind-boggling, but Mizzou bounced back and scored 83 points on a great Ole Miss defense. In league play, Missouri is the second-best three-point shooting team, thanks to Caleb Grill’s NCAA-leading 48.5% from deep. Missouri has exceeded all expectations this season and is solidly in the NCAA Tournament at this point, but still has a little work to do before we can consider the Tigers a contender for the conference title.
