From a public relations standpoint, it’s been a rough offseason for Coach Mark Pope and the Wildcats, missing out on several notable transfer and recruiting targets in the past couple of months. However, the team has landed some good players, including the guard duo of Diallo and Wilkins, both of whom can score.
The addition of Kepnang and his waiver is big, considering that Moreno is still in the NBA Draft process. If he comes back and has a breakout campaign, Kentucky could ultimately overachieve expectations. Plus, they could be in business for another big addition, depending on what else happens with the draft decisions.
