The biggest current storyline in all of SEC Basketball right now is the status of Tanner, the breakout all-league star for the Commodores. He’s currently in the NBA Draft process and it’s 50/50 on whether he’ll stay or come back to Vandy. If he does, they’re a preseason top-25 team and a candidate for a top-4 spot in the conference.
The two biggest pieces to watch, not named Tanner, with the team are rising sophomores in Glass and Williams-Adams. Glass, one of the WCC’s top scorers as a freshman, is a lead guard who can play alongside Tanner in the backcourt. And Williams-Adams was in a crowded frontcourt at Auburn but still was productive and is set to be the focal point this time around.
