For now, we’ll be operating as if both Thomas and Richmond are back from the NBA Draft process. Those are two all-league candidates, especially Thomas, who could be the lead guard with Acuff definitely staying in the draft. Joining him in the backcourt will be Wilkinson, who led Georgia in scoring last year, and Smith, who may be the top incoming guard prospect in the entire 2026 recruiting class.Â
The frontcourt has more questions, not having much size or proven players. Muurinen has as high a ceiling as any freshman forward, while Bowser is an athletic forward from Furman. They can use some more depth up front, but barring a surprise draft decision, they should be loaded at guard and on the wings.
