New head coach Will Wade had just one commit on the roster just a couple of weeks ago but has been busy landing players. There’s a ton of mystery with so many international guys, but if any breaks out, they’ll be in good shape.
The best player on the team would be Luis, a former Big East Player of the Year. But his eligibility is in major question and isn’t included in this ranking until he’s cleared, leaving the backcourt still an issue. Plus, SEC Basketball can make a case for being a top-5 league in the world, meaning that it’s not a given that the foreign newcomers will automatically succeed.
