9. Texas A&M Aggies

2025-26 record: 22-12 (11-7)

Likely departures

  • Rashaun Agee (14.6 ppg and 8.7 rpg)
  • Rylan Griffen (11.2 ppg and 2.5 apg)
  • Marcus Hill (10.3 ppg and 3.1 rpg)
  • Ruben Dominguez (10.2 ppg and 2.3 rpg)
  • Pop Isaacs (9.8 ppg and 2.6 apg)
  • Zach Clemence (6.9 ppg and 3.2 rpg)
  • Jacari Lane (6.1 ppg and 3.0 apg)
  • Ali Dibba (5.7 ppg and 2.8 rpg)
  • Josh Holloway (4.6 ppg and 1.8 apg)
  • Federiko Federiko (1.8 ppg and 1.9 rpg)

Likely returnees

  • Mackenzie Mgbako (10.4 ppg and 4.9 rpg in 7 games)
  • Jamie Vinson (3.5 ppg and 2.3 rpg)

Roster additions

  • PJ Haggerty (23.4 ppg and 3.8 apg at Kansas State)
  • Tyshawn Archie (14.3 ppg and 2.9 apg at McNeese State)
  • Jalen Reece (5.8 ppg and 3.6 apg at LSU)
  • Jalen Shelley (13.7 ppg and 6.6 rpg at LMU)
  • Cade Phillips (3.8 ppg and 4.0 rpg at Tennessee)
  • Lukas Walls (7.9 ppg and 2.5 rpg at Radford)
  • Bryson Warren (Former G-League guard)
  • Josh Irving (4-star center prospect)

Last year, the Aggies were a balanced unit on offense. But there’s a clear go-to guy on paper for the team next season in Haggery, who has scored 20+ ppg on three different teams in his college career. The hope is that Mgbako, who missed most of last year with an injury, is ready to be the kind of No. 2 option he showed flashes of at Indiana.

The frontcourt may not have a ton of offensive production but guys like Phillips and Irving should keep the interior defense at a high level in SEC Basketball play. Warren, a G Leaguer and talented guard, serves as an x-factor to watch on the perimeter.
