12. Texas Longhorns (8-2)

Texas rattled off seven straight wins following the loss to start the season, picking up wins over Syracuse and North Carolina State along the way. But when Texas hosted UConn things didn’t go its way, and the Longhorns dropped a second game in the non-con slate. Texas bounced back to beat New Mexico State, but won’t have another opportunity to pick up a quality win before SEC play. Rodney Terry is still figuring out his rotation, but freshman Tre Johnson (19.9 ppg) has been great for Texas.

11. Missouri Tigers (9-1)

Missouri has one of the best wins this season, taking down No. 1 Kansas at home. Beating KU for the first time in over a decade. Tamar Bates became a Mizzou legend in the upset win over the Jayhawks scoring 29 points. The Tigers followed that up with a 27-point win over LIU to exceed the team's win total from last season. Missouri has another chance this week to pick up a win over a power conference team when it travels to St. Louis to take on Illinois in the annual Braggin’ Rights game.

10. Arkansas Razorbacks (9-2)

Arkansas is starting to get healthy and at the right time of the season. The Razorbacks knocked off No. 14 Michigan last week in a high-scoring affair, picking up the team's signature win of the season thus far. Arkansas has looked great offensively the past two games, and outside of the Michigan game has been really good on the defensive end. The Razorback's two losses of the season were against quality P5 programs. Making it through the non-con slate with a 9-2 record so far has been impressive considering the injuries.
