03. Alabama Crimson Tide (8-2)

After giving up 80 or more points in five straight games, Alabama has held its last two opponents under that number. In its most recent game, Alabama hosted Creighton and won by eight points. The win over the Bluejays wasn’t quite as close as the final score. Alabama is as healthy as it will be for the rest of the season with Chris Youngblood finally being available. Even with two losses on the season, the Tide should still be one of the favorites to win the SEC.

02. Tennessee Volunteers (10-0)

Tennessee has started to look mortal the past couple of games, after winning each of its first eight games by at least 15 points. The Volunteers had to fight off a late-game comeback to beat Miami, and then in its last game Tennessee struggled to score against Illinois in a closely officiated game, needing late-game heroics from Jordan Gainey to win at the final buzzer. Even with the close games lately, Tennessee is still a top-two team in both the SEC and the country.

01. Auburn Tigers (9-1)

Since falling to Duke in the SEC/ACC Challenge, Auburn has beaten the brakes off its last two opponents. Beating Richmond by 44 points and then taking down Ohio State by 38 points. Taking down the Buckeyes in such a dominating fashion was a little shocking, but the Tigers have beaten nearly every team on the schedule with relative ease this season.

Johni Broome scored 21 points and grabbed 20 rebounds against OSU, nearly out-rebounding the Buckeyes by himself. With how well Auburn has played this season, the Tigers remain the favorite to win it all this season.
