3. Arkansas Razorbacks
John Calipari’s second season at Arkansas is drawing major buzz. After last year’s postseason run, the Razorbacks have reloaded with elite recruits and experience. Fayetteville is ready for another deep March push, starting with a home opener against Southern on November 3.

4. Alabama Crimson Tide
Nate Oats once again has a roster built to score in bunches. Labaron Philon Jr. and Aden Holloway lead the way, with Taylor Bowen and Latrell Wrightsell adding key depth. Alabama’s early schedule is tough, but it could mold them into a legitimate title threat. They begin the year hosting North Dakota.

5. Tennessee Volunteers
Rick Barnes enters his 38th season as a head coach and 11th at Tennessee. After back-to-back Elite Eight appearances, the Vols are ready for more. Freshman phenom Nate Ament and guard Ja’Kobi Gillespie make this team one of the most exciting in the country. They start their campaign on November 3 against Mercer.
