20. Tae Davis - Oklahoma
2024-25 season stats (at Notre Dame): 15.1 ppg and 5.3 rpg
The 6’9 forward started 65 games in two years at Notre Dame, ranking second in scoring. Davis had eight games with at least 20 points, including 27 on the road at Georgia Tech. He gives the Sooners the ideal replacement for Jalon Moore in the frontcourt as a capable high-major scoring option.
19. Silas Demary - UConn
2024-25 season stats (at Georgia): 13.5 ppg and 3.1 apg
The 6’5 guard was second on Georgia (first in assists), shooting 37% from deep. Demary had four games of at least 20 points, including 26 in a win at Texas. He’s set to start in the Huskies backcourt alongside returning guard Soloman Ball, giving them a potent scoring duo.
18. Tucker DeVries - Indiana
2024-25 season stats (at West Virginia): 14.9 ppg and 4.9 rpg
Limited to just eight games last season, we’ve still not seen DeVries at a high-major level. Still, the two-time former MVC Player of the Year wing is set to be one of the more impactful newcomers to the Big Ten. Tucker follows his father for the second time, hoping to make the NCAA Tournament.
17. Joson Sanon - St. John’s
2024-25 season stats (at Arizona State): 11.9 ppg and 3.4 rpg
The former 5-star prospect had a strong end to his freshman campaign at ASU, averaging 18.8 ppg in the final five games. Sanon shot 37% from deep and showed he can be a lead option for a team in the future. With Kadary Richmond and RJ Luis leaving, St. John’s will need Sanon to come in and be a consistent piece next year.
16. Josh Dix - Creighton
2024-25 season stats (at Iowa): 14.4 ppg and 2.8 apg
The 6’5 guard had a breakout scoring campaign as a junior for the Hawkeyes, shooting 51% from the field and 42% from three-point range. Dix had six games of at least 20 points, including a career-high 31 in a win over Nebraska in overtime. He’s set to be the lead guard at Creighton to replace Steven Ashworth. We’ll see if he slides over to run point or if the Bluejays will look to find another ball-handler.
