5. Oscar Cluff - Purdue

2024-25 season stats: 17.6 ppg and 12.3 rpg

The 6’11 big man was second in college basketball in rebounding, along with 22 double-doubles. The last one was a 27-point and 17-rebound effort in the conference tournament against South Dakota State. Cluff gives Purdue a true center next year, pairing with Trey Kaufman-Renn for one of the best frontcourts.

4. Ja’kobi Gillespie - Tennessee

2024-25 season stats (at Maryland): 14.7 ppg and 4.8 apg

The 6’0 junior guard was an impact starter at Maryland, including shooting 40% from deep on nearly six attempts. Gillespie will be an offensive upgrade over Tennessee’s star PG Zakai Ziegler as the next Vols starting guard, and he’s an underrated defender as well, though not to the same level as Ziegler.

3. Ryan Conwell - Louisville

2024-25 season stats (at Xaiver): 16.5 ppg and 2.5 apg

The 6’4 guard was one of the top shooters in college basketball this past season, shooting 41% from three-point range. Conwell had 12 games of at least 20 points, including 38 in the Big East Tournament against Marquette. He’ll replace Terrence Edwards as the next starting wing at Louisville, arguably the best of an already great transfer haul.

2. Donovan Dent - UCLA

2024-25 season stats (at New Mexico): 20.4 ppg and 6.4 apg

The 6’2 guard was one of the best players in all college basketball this season, leading the Lobos to an NCAA Tournament bid and earning Mountain West Player of the Year. Dent had four games of at least 20 points, including a career-high 40 in a win over VCU. He gives UCLA a lead guard for next season, replacing both Sebastian Mack and Dylan Andrews.

1. Yaxel Lendeborg - Michigan

2024-25 season stats (at UAB): 17.7 ppg, 11.4 rpg, and 4.2 apg

The 6’9 power forward was a two-time Defensive Player of the Year in the AAC but is more known for his elite all-around offensive scoring abilities. Lendeborg had several games of at least 20 points and 15 rebounds, including 30 points, 20 rebounds, and eight assists in the win over East Carolina in the ACC Tournament. He’s set to replace Danny Wolf in the frontcourt at Michigan, assuming he returns from the NBA Draft process.
