12. TCU Horned Frogs

Xavier Edmonds (12.7 ppg and 6.5 rpg)
Brock Harding (8.0 ppg and 5.6 apg)
Tanner Tolson (7.7 ppg and 3.2 rpg)
Gavin Murphy (JUCO transfer guard)

TCU is one of a few high-major programs that retained at least three key rotation pieces this offseason. All three were entering their fourth years, and now TCU could maintain its roster continuity.

Edmonds was one of the top impact JUCO transfers last year, and in year two at the D-I level, could be an All-Big 12 player. Harding and Toolson are two capable perimeter scorers and shooters, while Murphy, who started his career at Ole Miss before two years at the JUCO level, now has two years to work with as well.

Compared to other Big 12 programs, TCU isn’t able to get the biggest names from the transfer portal or high school pipeline. In fact, they lost arguably their best player (David Punch), to Texas via the portal. But if they can continue to keep the other key rotation pieces who want to stay, that’ll keep the Frogs in the postseason mix.
