In their first season as a member of the WCC, Oregon State won 20 games total. They have one more year in that league before moving back to the Pac-12 in 2026-27. Their non-conference schedule has been released, featuring a few notable matchups, including the annual rivalry.

Here are the top three games to watch among those the Beavers will face.

3. North Texas Mean Green

Although they have a new coach in Daniyal Robinson from Cleveland State, he brings with him a pair of double-digit scorers in Je’Shawn Stevenson and Dylan Arnett. UCLA transfer guard Will McClendon could be a breakout player to watch in the backcourt, with the Mean Green potentially not taking a step back in the AAC.

2. Arizona State Sun Devils

It’s an entirely new roster for the Sun Devils, made up of either freshmen or mid-major transfers. Some notable newcomers include Moe Odom (Pepperdine) and Marcus Adams (Cal State Northridge), who averaged 15+ ppg at their previous spots. There are plenty of unknowns with this group but there’s also potential. Still, Oregon State should have a solid shot at winning this.

1. Oregon Ducks

The Ducks and Beavers have had one of the longest basketball rivalries in college basketball. While Oregon State leads the overall series, Oregon has won the last eight meetings, including a 74-71 victory in Corvallis, where it came back from a double-digit second-half deficit.

Oregon brings back the star duo of Jackson Shelstad and Nate Bittle, two all-league caliber players. The question will be how good the revamped supporting cast is. Notable transfers include Sean Stewart (Ohio State) and guard TK Simpkins, who averaged 16.4 ppg at Elon. They’ll be tough for Oregon State, but if they can contain the star duo, the Beavers could have a shot at ending the rivalry skid.
