Missouri Basketball went from the bottom of the SEC in the year prior to making the NCAA Tournament this past season, winning 22 games overall. Despite losing to the Memphis Tigers on opening night, the SEC program then won nine straight, including an upset win over then-No. 1 Kansas.
Missouri recently released its non-con schedule, with 10 of them making the NCAA Tournament last season. Of course, the Tigers will be favored when playing the mid-majors, but they also have some marquee high-major opponents as well.

Here’s a look at the top four confirmed foes for Missouri Basketball.
4. Minnesota Golden Gophers (H)
Minnesota lost star forward Dawson Garcia and added a number of players from the portal to try to field a competitive Big Ten roster. The key guys to watch include Langston Reynolds (North Colorado), Bobby Durkin (Davidson), and Cade Tyson, who struggled at UNC last season after being viewed as one of the top transfers a year ago after starring at Belmont.
3. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (A)
Notre Dame has one of the best backcourt duos in the nation returning in Markus Burton (21.3 ppg and 3.0 apg) and Braeden Shrewsberry. They also add incoming 5-star guard prospect, Jalen Haralson, to the rotation, along with Carson Towt, who produced 13.3 ppg and 12.4 rpg at Northern Arizona and gives them needed frontcourt depth. It’s an important year for HC Micah Shrewsberry, and there’s plenty of firepower for them to be a threat.
2. Illinois Fighting Illini (N)
After losing two 1st-round NBA Draft picks (Kasparas Jakucionis and Will Riley), the Illini reloaded with two big transfers in Andrej Stojakovic (Cal) and Zvonimir Ivisic (Arkansas), who reunite with his brother and starting center, Tomislav Ivisic. Returning guard Kylan Boswell will be the focal point of the backcourt, joined by key international newcomer Mihailo Petrovic.
1. Kansas Jayhawks (N)
Although they won’t be the preseason No. 1 team for the third time in a row, Kansas will still have a good squad next season. They’ll be led by 5-star guard prospect Darryn Peterson, along with key transfers, Jayden Dawson (Loyola Chicago) and Tre White (Illinois). Sophomore center Flory Bidunga will be the focal point of the frontcourt, along with key international newcomer Paul Mbiya.
