40. Kartex Knox - Arkansas
2024-2025 stats: 8.3 pts, 3.3 reb, 1.0 ast
Knox decided against the one-and-done route and will be back with Coach Cal for at least one more year. He will look to build on the momentum from the end of last season, when he averaged 11.5 points over the Razorbacks’ final 12 games.
39. Chase Walker - Illinois State
2024-2025 stats: 15.2 pts, 6.2 reb, 2.0 ast
In a Missouri Valley Conference that has become known as a feeder to big time programs, Walker made the rare decision to stay. After a breakout season where he improved his scoring average from 3.2 to 15.2 points per game, his return is one of the biggest at the mid-major level. With the big man back, several other key pieces returning, and lots of question marks in the conference, Illinois State looks like the favorites to come out of the MVC.
38. Amarri Monroe - Quinnipiac
2024-2025 stats: 18.1 pts, 9.1 reb, 1.6 asT
This is one of the more surprising returnees and a massive boost for Quinnipiac. Monroe posted 15 double-doubles last season which helped him earn MAAC Player of the Year. Despite entering the portal in late March, Monroe ultimately decided to return in hopes of getting the Bobcats to the tournament for the first time in program history.
37. Coen Carr - Michigan State
2024-2025 stats: 8.1 pts, 3.6 reb, 0.5 ast
The high flying athletic freak Carr may not always fill up the stat sheet, but his presence is certainly felt all over the court. If the junior is able to improve his shooting and become more of a threat on the offensive end, he has the potential to be a top player in college basketball next season.
36. Miles Rubin - Loyola Chicago
2024-2025 stats: 9.6 pts, 5.5 reb, 1.3 ast
Rubin is by far the biggest returning piece for Drew Valentine and the Ramblers next season. Last year he recorded ten games with over 20 combined points and rebounds, and was one of the best interior defenders in all of college basketball with 2.3 blocks per game.
