Projected Starters

Guard – Dylan Andrews (Junior)

The Bruins’ leading scorer as a sophomore last season, Andrews returns for year three with even greater expectations at the point. He averaged 12.9 points and 3.7 assists and took a major step forward last season despite UCLA’s team struggles. He’s a fantastic weapon to have back as an upperclassman, though there’s still work to be done on the shooting aspect of his game.

Guard – Skyy Clark (Junior)

Formerly a highly-ranked recruit, Clark fizzled out as a freshman at Illinois before spending last season in a starring role for a miserable Louisville squad. His sophomore season saw him average 13.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.0 assists, putting up pretty solid production across the board. He’ll now transition into a major role for the Bruins back in the Big Ten while hoping to become a more consistent shooter.

Guard – Kobe Johnson (Senior)

One of the most important offseason additions, Johnson is a familiar face, as the senior wing spent his first three seasons at rival USC. A starter for the Trojans in the last two years, Johnson put up 10.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.3 steals, with solid contributions on both sides of the ball. His 3-point shooting doesn’t stand out but he was All-Defense in the Pac-12 the last two years and becomes an extremely important asset for the Bruins

Guard/Forward – Eric Dailey Jr. (Sophomore)

Last season saw Dailey, a Top 50 recruit, make solid strides in his freshman season at Oklahoma State. He started half of the Cowboys’ games, averaging 9.3 points and 4.8 rebounds with solid paint presence. After a coaching change, he entered the Transfer Portal and has a chance to grow into a more significant force as a rebounder and interior scorer.

Forward – Tyler Bilodeau (Junior)

Another frontcourt addition form the Transfer Portal, Bilodeau also joins the Bruins from familiar ground, having spent his first two collegiate years at Oregon State. His sophomore season provided a spark during a rough year for the Beavers as he averaged 14.3 points and 5.7 rebounds a night. Bilodeau takes his act to Los Angeles and should play significant minutes, with great scoring ability around the rim.
