6. Duke Blue Devils

The Blue Devils won’t be the same next season with Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel Khaman Maluach set to depart, among others. But there will be zero shortage of talent in Durham once again. Sion James, Maliq Brown and Caleb Foster could be set for bigger roles next season.

The star-studded Boozer twins -- headlined by a top-ranked recruiting class -- inject that high-ceiling, NBA-ready youth that has been a staple in the Duke program. Armed with reportedly at least $8 million to $10 million in NIL, there’s zero question the Blue Devils will be plenty active in the 2025 transfer portal.

5. BYU Cougars

Unleash the beast. The BYU Cougars are coming, led by the No. 1 ranked recruit AJ Dybantsa. One name for the Cougars to watch this offseason is Egor Demin, who projects near the lottery but has yet to officially declare for the NBA Draft. It’s a complicated situation to monitor because the Cougars are equipped (heavily) with deep NIL pockets. Leading scorer Richie Saunders is also mulling a return. If Demin and Saudners return, perhaps the Cougars are even ranked too low.
