18. Michigan State Spartans

Michigan State’s 2025-26 offseason outlook is largely based on Jase Richardson’s looming decision: Does he stay in college or leave for the 2025 NBA Draft? Richardson’s name has been floated in the lottery but given the current state of NIL and deep collective pockets, you never not rule out a potential return. However, it’s hard to imagine he elects to stay in East Lansing.

Add in Jeremy Fears, Coen Carr, Carson Cooper and Jaxon Kohler and suddenly the 2025-26 outlook is still quite optimistic. But it all depends on the looming decision of Jase Richardson. Izzo will likely look for a guard and another big in the transfer portal.

17. UCLA Bruins

Mick Cronin wasted no time in the transfer portal, landing the prized New Mexico transfer Donovan Dent. Dent was among the top scorers in college basketball, averaging 20.4 PPG for the Lobos last season. While things can change in the upcoming weeks, notable returnees for the Bruins include leading scorer Tyler Bilodeau -- who can turn on the jets and take over a game at any minute -- followed by Eric Dailey Jr. and Skyy Clark.
