12. Alabama Crimson Tide
Replacing the legendary Mark Sears alongside Grant Nelson, Clifford Omoruyi and Chris Youngblood won’t be easy for Nate Oats and his staff. But I like the director where the Crimson Tide is heading, landing three transfers in seven-footer Noah WIlliams (Bucknell), Taylor Bol Bowen (Florida State) and former five-star recruit Jalil Bethea (Miami FL).
In addition, Alabama is tentatively set to return Aden Holloway, Jarin Stevenson, Aiden Sherrell and Derrion Reid on top of a recruiting class that ranks 13th in the 24/7 Sports class of 2025 composite rankings.
11. Florida Gators
The 2025 national champions will be tasked with replacing their potent, perimeter-oriented backcourt with Walter Calyton Jr. Will Richard and Alijah Martin. But don’t expect the Gators to stay quiet this offseason as I fully expect Todd Golden to aggressively attack the transfer portal to fill the missing pieces on the perimeter. In the frontcourt, Alex Condon’s stay-or-go decision looms large but the Gators will still have pieces in place if he elects to depart Gainesville, such as breakout candidate Thomas Haugh.
