Iowa State Cyclones star Bryce Dejean-Jones Jailed on Marijuana, Noise Charges UPDATE
Iowa State’s leading scorer Bryce Dejean-Jones was arrested and jailed on multiple charges Thursday morning, the Ames Tribune reports. Dejean-Jones, a UNLV transfer and the team’s second leading scorer, was formally charged with hosting a drug house, nuisance party regulations and a noise violation, according to online records. His bail has been set at $1,600.
According to Ames Police Department spokesman Geoff Huff, Dejean-Jones was keeping a residence where a substance believed to be marijuana was discovered. That is a serious misdemeanor in the Iowa Code and Dejean-Jones was jailed in Story County jail Thursday with a court appearance scheduled for 11 a.m. the same day.

This all comes on the eve of the #14-ranked Cyclones’ game against in-state rivals Iowa Friday night, Dejean-Jones’ status for which is still undecided.
UPDATE: All charges against Dejean-Jones have been dropped, according to the Des Moines Register’s Tommy Birch.
