3. Boston Celtics
Our final three choices are arguably the three greatest franchises in NBA history. First, we have the leader in NBA Championships with the Boston Celtics. Danny Ainge, GM of the Celtics, is openly tanking this season as well, moving anything that is moving for draft picks.

This is a multi-year plan that the Celtics are in the midst of, which has seen them draft and acquire a plethora of big men. Currently, they have Tyler Zeller and Kelly Olynyk in the post and Jared Sullinger and Brandon Bass as power forwards. While Bass is out of contract this summer, the other three are young pieces who have played important roles with the team and are expected to do the same going forward.
Which makes the likelihood of drafting Okafor slim. He is more talented than Olynyk and Zeller, but it’s hard to rationalize drafting a center when they have options readily available. With players like Stanley Johnson and Justise Winslow available, who are more natural fits to the needs of the Celtics, I’d imagine that would be the way they went.
Then again, passing on someone like Okafor is as regrettable a move as it could be.
Chance of Drafting Okafor – 40%.
