VIDEO: Duke’s Jahlil Okafor Posterized By FSU’s Phil Cofer

facebooktwitterreddit

Jahlil Okafor may no longer be atop NBA Draft boards after tonight.

If you’re a legitimate center in college basketball or beyond, odds are you’ve been dunked on. It’s an occupational hazard of being the last line of defense at the rim. However, they don’t come much nastier than Florida State’s Phil Cofer‘s elevation and detonation over Duke’s Jahlil Okafor.

Turn away Knicks, Lakers, Sixers, and T’wolves fans, this is nasty.

Granted, every center will get dunked on, especially ones who actively go for the block, but that doesn’t make the dunks any less amazing. Okafor and the Florida State Seminoles were engaged in a lifeless conference match-up. Luckily for fans, Cofer ignited the game and the crowd with this monster dunk.

Worse yet, multiple NBA scouts were in attendance for this game, likely watching Okafor and his teammates.

Way to make a great impression, Okafor!

Granted, Okafor himself has put a handful of defenders on posters this year with his huge size, but it’s always that much sweeter when it’s a top prospect getting manhandled. I’m sure there’s many fans who will also enjoy the fact that it was a Dukie.

Do you think Okafor will sign that poster?
