My thought process was to put together a solid, veteran type of group, who have all of the ingredients to win games in big moments. I didn’t have any idea of what players I was going to draft, so I decided to make a list of at least four players in each position.
As for the coach, Greg Marshall has done a great job at Wichita State with underrated players such as Fred VanVleet and Ron Baker. If he’s given proven players on a roster, there’s no way he could lose.
When it came to the arena, Cameron Indoor Stadium came to mind, because of the student section. The students are always standing up, jumping up and down, cheering for the Duke Blue Devils. What coach would not want a student section supporting his or her team? In my opinion, Duke has some of the best fans in the country.
