Player Movement Central: Update on Top Available Transfers

facebooktwitterreddit

We are still in the throws of college basketball’s “free agency” period, with more people declaring their transfer intentions almost every day.  Here are the next three individuals who are a part of the many transfers that I have chosen to highlight.

Villanova’s Dylan Ennis is first up.  The immediately eligible guard averaged 9.9 ppg, 3.7 rpg, and 3.5 apg while also being one of the Wildcats’ best defenders.  According to Jeff Goodman of ESPN, Baylor, Oregon and Illinois are Ennis’ top schools and each school would be lucky to have the experienced guard join.

Next is Frank Booker formerly of Oklahoma.  The 6’4″ guard will have to sit a season per standard transfer rules, but he brings a solid frame along with the experience of playing in the ultra-competitive Big 12.  He only averaged 5.0 ppg, but he could definitely improve in his junior and senior years with the right situation.

My last player to watch this time around is Anton Grady from the Cleveland State Vikings.  Listed at 6’8″ and 225 lbs., Grady averaged 14.3 ppg and 7.9 rpg, near the top of both categories for his team.  He also put up 1.5 spg and 1.7 bpg, demonstrating that he can play solid on both ends of the floor.  As another transfer able to play right away, Grady should be highly sought after by any number of teams that need his combination of size and skill.

Keep your eyes on the constantly evolving transfer list, per ESPN, and return to Busting Brackets for all news and reactions as next season’s roster’s take shape.
