facebooktwitterreddit

After reports are surfacing regarding the seemingly eventual exit of head coach Fred Hoiberg, fans are beginning to experience the grieving process.

Take a seat, Cyclone fans. I’ve got some bad news.

Fred Hoiberg has one foot out the door and there is really nothing you can do about it. Multiple reports have sprung up stating that the Chicago Bulls fully expect to have Fred Hoiberg signed and announced as their new head coach by as early as Tuesday, June 2.

Obviously, nothing is over until the fat lady sings, but when contract numbers are being reported by ESPN, it would take a miracle for that deal not to be completed. So, Iowa State fans – how are you feeling?

This is going to be a tough couple of days, weeks, or even months for you, but you have to stay strong. We at Busting Brackets just want you to be prepared for that drop of your heart in your chest if/when the Bulls make their announcement that Fred Hoiberg is their new head coach.

WHO Channel 13, a NBC affiliate in Des Moines, Iowa, has a guide of the different stages of grief you will be going through soon after the Mayor leaves the comforts of Ames. May this preemptive video outlining your future emotions bring you peace in a time that seems like utter chaos.
