Aaron Harrison vs Andrew Harrison
It was not quite as murderous as Cain and Abel, or as criminal as The Menendez Brothers, but the Aaron Harrison vs. Andrew Harrison matchup was entertaining and free of violence — kind of !
This game was the first time that the Harrison twins played on opposite teams in competition. Aaron Harrison won the statistical battle finishing with 16 points and eight assists compared to Andrew’s nine points and six rebounds and two assists.
However, Andrew Harrison’s squad won the war with the Memphis Grizzlies defeating Aaron Harrison and the Charlotte Hornets 79-75.
This was as stated earlier a non-violent affair between the brothers, though it did get playfully chippy as you will see in the following video.
This brutal attack must not go without retaliation. Aaron must do what any brother would do in this situation and dump cold water on Andrew while he is sleeping.
Or write a foul word on his face with a Sharpie while he is sleeping. The main thing is to get him while he is sleeping.
Aaron Harrison is making an impression on the Charlotte Hornets coaching staff after Charlotte brought him in as an undrafted free agent.
Hornets’ summer league coach Patrick Ewing seems to like what he sees in the 6-foot-6 point guard from what he was quoted as saying in a newsobserver.com article:
It was kind of surprising that Aaron Harrison was not drafted in either round, but there is going to be a spot for him in Charlotte’s training camp you would have to believe.
Frank Kaminsky even gave Harrison an endorsement in that same newsobserver.com piece:
Charlotte is in need of some point guard depth and Aaron would fit the bill in the end. Developing chemistry with the Hornets top pick is not going to hurt his chances either.
We Have A Stanley Johnson Sighting
Arizona star turned Detroit Pistons’ lottery pick, Stanley Johnson, showed why he could be a potential superstar in the NBA with his Sunday display in the Orlando Summer League.
Johnson led his Pistons with 24 points and nine rebounds as Detroit beat the Los Angeles Clippers squad 77-69.

Stanley Johnson was simply too strong , too athletic, and had too much game for the Clippers to handle shooting 10 of 14 from the field and 1 of 3 from downtown in the game.
He had 13 points in his debut game on Saturday against the Orlando Magic’s White Team.
Now comes one of the main matchups that everyone who has been following the Orlando Summer League has been waiting for.
Stanley Johnson will be matched up against Justise Winslow Monday at 5 PM Eastern Time when the Pistons play against the Heat.
Both players are coming into this matchup as the leading scorers for their respective team.
Stanley Johnson is averaging 18.5 points and a team high 6.5 rebounds for Detroit, while Justise Winslow is averaging 14.5 points and 3.5 assists to lead the Heat.
This might be the most exciting matchup of the Orlando Summer League.
