Villanova also will be bringing five-star freshman point guard Jalen Brunson, who is the son of former Temple star point guard Rick Brunson.

Stanford will be looking to build off of their 2015 NIT Postseason Championship though they lost their top three leading scorers from last year, and will be fielding a pretty young team for 2015-16.

Georgia Tech will be looking to bounce back from a tough 2014-15 season that saw the Yellow Jackets finish 12-19 on the year.

The Jackets return their leading scorer Marcus Georges-Hunt who averaged 13.6 points per contest, and will have transfer Adam Smith from Virginia Tech playing in the backcourt this season.

Tech head coach Brian Gregory in a lot of people’s eyes is on the hot seat this season with Georgia Tech. But winning this kind of a tournament would enhance his chances of sticking around, coupled with of course having a strong ACC showing.

The winners of both of these games will face off on November 27th for the NIT Tip-Off Championship.

Before the championship rounds are played there will be a dozen games played at designated locations.
