It appears that the ACC has an 80% chance of seeing the Robinson display his talent in their conference with Florida State, North Carolina, Georgia Tech and Louisville all being mentioned in his final five.
Maryland out of the Big Ten is the lone school mentioned outside of the Atlantic Coast Conference according to a collegebasketballtalk.com article by Raphielle Johnson.
When you look at the five schools mentioned, you can’t help but think that there are really two teams with a legitimate shot to obtain his services for 2016.
Florida State makes sense for the 6-foot-5 shooting guard prospect since the Seminoles perimeter players are going into their senior season in Montay Brandon and Devon Bookert.
Louisville makes some sense for Brandon Robinson also because they have Damien Lee and Trey Lewis running the Cardinals backcourt, and both of those players are graduate students.
On the flipside when you look at Georgia Tech’s situation, yeah true, they have a lot of upperclassman roaming their backcourt. Marcus Georges-Hunt is in his senior season while transfers James White and Adam Smith are in their final years of eligibilty after transferring to The Flats.
But the question for Georgia Tech is going to be what is their coaching situation going to be after the 2015-16 season. Yellow Jackets head coach Brian Gregory might be on the hottest seat in college basketball.
You may not want to commit to a coach you can’t guarantee is going to be around when you show up in 2016.

Then again, Robinson would be close to home if he plays at Georgia Tech and he would be a nice recruit to help revive their hoop program.
North Carolina might be under some kind of NCAA probation by the time Brandon Robinson shows up in Chapel Hill if he chooses the Tar Heels.
The possible sanctions that the NCAA could hit the UNC Athletic Program with is well-documented.
Finally, Maryland who is in the mix more than we realize, is actually loaded on the perimeter. Former Duke guard Rasheed Sulaimon is at Maryland as a grad student. Jake Layman is a senior and in his final year of eligibility.
Then Melo Trimble is one of three sophomore guards that is on the roster for Mark Turgeon.
In the end, who ever gets the 6-foot-5 guard out of Douglas County, Georgia is going to be satisfied with his versatility and scoring ability.
Brandon Robinson is going to be a solid recruit for someone’s program in 2016.
