The Auburn Tigers have a pretty solid back-to-back of games start in Saturday January 16th when they host the Kentucky Wildcats for their first 2016 meeting.
Between his stints in Tennessee and now at Auburn, Bruce Pearl has amassed a record of 4-11 against the Wildcats with his last win coming on February 27, 2010 in Knoxville by a score of 74-65.
Kentucky at Auburn can be seen on ESPN2 at 4PM ET.
Auburn will follow that game up with a rivalry game against Avery Johnson’s Alabama Crimson Tide.
Auburn lost both of their 2015 tilts to the Crimson Tide last season losing by a 57-55 margin on January 24th, and then taking a 79-68 loss at home on February 17th.
The Tigers finished 15-20 in their first season under Bruce Pearl.
They were one if the shortest teams in the conference in 2014-15. So to remedy that, Coach Pearl brought in 6-foot-8 freshman Horace Spencer and 6-foot-9 Providence transfer Tyler Harris.
