The first NCAA basketball live period event kicked off with NIKE EYBL circuit this past weekend. Here are some of the players who stood out.

The Nike EYBL kicked off this past weekend in Dallas, Texas. This marked the beginning of the live period for coaches to get out and see the top high school prospects. The 17U group this season consists of 40 teams across four divisions, showing just how much talent is spread across the nation in 2018.

Considering only four teams went undefeated in their first weekend, it is clear just how competitive this year’s EYBL circuit will be. Woodz Elite (AR), Team Takeover (DC), the New York Lightning and Pro Skills (TX) were all successful in going undefeated during Session 1.

Team Takeover and the New York Lightning are also both in the same division so that will not stay the same for long. Out of all four divisions, one managed to go without an undefeated team during Session 1 play. This year’s field should be nothing short of competitive, that’s for sure.

The Lightning looked like the best offensive team out of the bunch after putting up 361 points (90.1 points per game) through their first four contests. They’ve got some talent on their roster that can fill it up. Now, without further ado, here’s a look at the Nike EYBL standouts through Session 1.
