NCAA Basketball Recruiting: Under Armour Association Standouts from Session 1

The NCAA Basketball live recruiting period is underway as the Under Armour Association kicked off its first session this past weekend. See who stood out.

The Under Armour Association kicked off its first 17U session in Dallas this past weekend. Five teams across three divisions managed to go undefeated through their first set of games. DC Premier, the Illinois Wolves, Louisiana Elite, We R 1 Basketball, and West Coast Elite all went 4-0 in the opening weekend.

DC Premier won all their games by 15 points more. The Illinois Wolves had a few close calls but still managed to remain unscathed one session in. Louisiana Elite played some close ones while We R 1, last year’s UAA Champions, used a 3-point victory over KC Run GMC to get off to a hot start. West Coast Elite won two of their three games of the weekend by at least 20 points.

The UAA is off to a fast start and so are a lot of these teams in this year’s pool. Across three divisions (Chaos, Curry and WeWill), 30 teams will battle it out for the UAA crown. We R 1 has won the title the past two seasons so they will be this year’s early favorite to win it again.

They’ll get all they can handle from a fresh crop of prospects. Here are the standouts from Session 1.
