ACC basketball didn’t get a national championship in 2017-18 but there’s a good number of talent headed to the 2018 NBA Draft.

The 2018 NBA Draft is on June 21. With May right around the corner, many of the top players have put their name in the hat for a spot in this year’s draft class. The NBA Draft Combine is in Chicago, IL from May 16-20.

Combine invites have already been sent out and the most intriguing of them is former Louisville Cardinals signee, Brian Bowen. Bowen is one of the players at the center of the FBI’s investigation into college basketball. Nonetheless, the NBA brass has deemed him worthy enough of an invite. He’s currently enrolled at the University of South Carolina but with his eligibility in the balance, he’s testing the draft waters, although he hasn’t hired an agent.

A few other notable players who have entered the draft are Wake Forest’s Doral Moore and Louisville’s Ray Spalding. Moore averaged 11.1 points and 9.4 rebounds in his junior year at Wake this past season. He averaged a double-double in ACC play alongside Duke’s Marvin Bagley. He hasn’t hired an agent.

Spalding averaged 12.3 points and 8.7 rebounds in 36 appearances for Louisville in 2017-18, 36 of them were starts. He’s a 6-foot-10, 215-pound forward who had a breakout junior year worthy enough to head to the next level. It will be interesting to see if it translates into getting selected on June 21 as he has already hired an agent. Here’s a look at the top ACC players that remain in the NBA Draft pool.
