3. Bonzie Colson, Notre Dame

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish sure are going to miss power forward Bonzie Colson, and so will the NBA Draft Combine. For the most part, this could be the NBA playing the safe card. After all, Colson is still on the mend recovering from a foot injury.

Colson hopes his foot injury doesn’t cost him anything else. He still averaged 19.7 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.2 blocks and 1.2 steals through 21 games in 2017-18 but his health is more important. His shooting percentage from behind the arc took a hit this past season. In 2016-17, he shot. 43.3 percent. Last season: 29.3 percent

The biggest red flag for Colson is the health and durability of his left foot. Colson re-injured his foot in their final game against the Penn State Nittany Lions back on March 17. He missed 15 games during the regular season after injuring the same foot in December.

He appeared in just seven contests before having to undergo a second surgery to correct the issue. With his health being an issue, Colson has to max out his individual workouts with NBA teams to improve his stock.
