South Carolina Gamecocks at Oklahoma State Cowboys

The Oklahoma State Cowboys and South Carolina Gamecocks are two teams looking to make NCAA Tournament appearances in the 2018-19 season. After going to a 17-16 record, the Gamecocks are looking to regroup this upcoming year.

South Carolina was a young team in 2017-18 so experience should be on their side going forward. With a young backcourt, there should be a heavy reliance on big man Maik Kotsar. They are 3-2 in the Big 12/SEC Challenge so far and the Cowboys should be a formidable opponent for them.

The Cowboys lose two seniors and leading scorers Jeffrey Carroll and Kendall Smith to graduation. Underclassmen Lindy Waters and Cameron McGriff will be looked depended upon to fill the void on that front. Tavarius Shine should also see more playing time after averaging 9.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in 31 appearances.

This year’s field has a lot of matchups that could go either way. This is another one of those meetings. Depending on how things play out, this could be another game to watch.
