ACC Basketball coaches did their due diligence in this year’s recruiting cycle, turning in strong classes across the board for this upcoming season.

ACC Basketball saw its fair share of one-and-done players this past season but 2018-19 is sure to deliver with a whole lot more and then some. Marvin Bagley III, Wendell Carter Jr. and Lonnie Walker IV are the latest batch of freshman to play a year of college and head to the NBA Draft. This season could see a lot more players do the same.

Along with Bagley, Carter and Walker, Duke Blue Devils guards Trevon Duval and Gary Trent Jr. also made the leap to the league after having strong freshman campaigns. Bagley led the way for this year’s pack of one-and-dones, averaging  21.0 points and 11.1 rebounds per game and taking home both the ACC Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year Award.

Duke has reloaded once again with their 2018 recruiting class. They could very well have a freshman starting five when the college basketball season starts. Although, they aren’t the only ones with more NBA-tier talent on the way. Here we take a look at five impact freshman to watch for in 2018-19.
