Pac-12 basketball had the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft once again. See which seven selections headline this year’s group of draftees.

The Pac-12 Conference saw seven players drafted in the 2018 NBA Draft, three in the first round and four in the second round. They tied with SEC Basketball in total selections. The Big Ten and ACC ranked just above them with eight and 10 selections, respectively.

The No. 1 overall pick came from the Arizona Wildcats this draft season. It is the sixth time in draft history a conference has posted consecutive No. 1 picks. After Washington Huskies standout Markelle Fultz went first overall in the 2017 NBA Draft a season prior, Deandre Ayton was this year’s headliner as a highly-sought out big man.

Interestingly enough, more players were taken in the second round than in the first round. It’s more of a testament to playing style than anything else. With Pac-12 basketball, you get more versatile forwards and bigs who have the ability to play inside and out.

The USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins reaped the rewards most with this philosophy as both schools saw two players selected from their ranks. It marks the 10th and 11th player drafted under head coach Steve Alford.

Depending on who you ask, there were some snubs, too. After all, Arizona guard Rawle Alkins went undrafted. Here’s a look at the top players selected from the Pac-12.
