Not much has changed as the Atlantic 10 Basketball title is anybody’s to win. Here’s a look at the rising juniors to keep an eye on in 2018-19.

The Atlantic 10 Conference will have some new faces on the sidelines as both La Salle Explorers and Rhode Island Rams will have new head coaches. The Explorers have hired former Villanova Wildcats assistant coach Ashley Howard to turn things around after winning two National titles in five seasons with the program. Now, Howard will be looked upon to turn around a La Salle program that hasn’t made the NCAA Tournament since the 2012-13 season.

The Rhode Island Rams will be led by head coach David Cox. Cox joins the program after spending the last four seasons as the associate head coach. Not much should change, other than the look of the team, as they’ll lose five seniors from last year’s squad. They went 15-3 in conference play.

With that being said, the next crop of upperclassmen has an opportunity to make some noise in the Atlantic 10. As players come off strong sophomore campaigns, they’re ready to turn a corner this upcoming season. The regular season title, as well as their automatic conference bid, will be anybody’s to win with a new season on the horizon. Here’s a look at the Top 5 rising juniors to watch in 2018-19.
