As a few teams enter the rebuilding stage of the college basketball process, here’s a look at some freshman names to know in Atlantic 10 Basketball.

There’s a new crop of freshman ready to make their college debut next season. Last year’s crop of freshmen was led by Rookie of the Year, Kellan Grady. Grady produced 18.0 points per game in 2017-18, finishing seventh in the Atlantic 10 in scoring. He also took home second-team All-Atlantic 10 honors, setting the bar high for the 2018 recruiting class.

Now, some new names are ready to take the stage. With the conference title race more wide open than ever, the freshmen may play a big role in any success their team may have. After three teams received bids in the NCAA Tournament, it looks like it could be a much tougher season to duplicate those numbers.

The Dayton Flyers are one team to keep an eye on with new head coach Anthony Grant at the helm. He returns to his alma mater after a stint with the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA. As he returns to his roots, the Flyers could be one surprise team with their incoming class of recruits.

Teams across the league shouldn’t hesitate in putting their newly acquired talent to good use. Here’s a look at some of the top freshmen to keep an eye on in 2018-19.
