Big 12 Basketball: Top 10 recruits joining the conference in 2018-19
Big 12 Basketball saw its fair share of talent leave through the draft and graduation. Here’s a look at the Top 10 incoming freshmen for 2018-19.
The Big 12 Basketball landscape is always changing given what they’re bringing in with their 2018 recruiting class. The Kansas Jayhawks own the best incoming class of freshmen this year with four new additions. The Texas Longhorns took that title last season with five new recruits under head coach Shaka Smart.
Once again, the Longhorns have another five players incoming in their 2018 recruiting class. This time around, head coach Bill Self has secured the reins back in favor of the Jayhawks with the top recruiting class.
They aren’t the only ones with quality talent incoming, either. Head coach Bob Huggins has a loaded class of six incoming freshmen this season for the West Virginia Mountaineers. Head coach Steve Prohm has another scintillating freshman on the way after Lindell Wigginton and Cameron Lard did work in Big 12 play.
Texas Tech is also another team with some quality freshmen on the way. After finishing 11-7 in Big 12 play, the Red Raiders lost freshman Zhaire Smith, but help is on the way. It’s safe to say Kansas won’t be the only team to watch in Big 12 play next season. Here are the Top 10 recruits joining the conference in 2018-19.
